Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Activity-Based Costing (ABC) to allocate manufacturing overhead and service department costs effectively.
• Prepare and control product costing, track cost changes, and support pricing and margin decisions for new products.
• Analyze manufacturing overhead, direct labor, and material costs to determine COGS and ensure accurate inventory valuation.
• Generate monthly variance reports (e.g., wastage, material, labor, freight) and validate inventory-related accounts during month-end closing.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives through expense analysis and optimization.
• Conduct physical inventory counts (WIP and annual) and coordinate procedures with warehouse managers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cost accounting.
• Proficiency in advanced reporting and data analysis tools.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
