About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Planning Specialist to join our dynamic team at a leading pharmaceutical company. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the seamless operation of our production processes, from planning and inventory management to supply chain coordination and demand forecasting. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, drive process optimization, and ensure efficient resource utilization, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning: Design and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with demand forecasts to ensure on-time delivery of products.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, forecast inventory needs, and work closely with procurement to maintain optimal inventory and prevent overstocking or shortages.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams to optimize the supply chain and reduce disruptions.
• Demand Forecasting: Analyze market trends, sales data, and historical performance to accurately forecast demand and adjust production plans accordingly.
• Process Optimization: Identify and address inefficiencies in planning and production processes to enhance productivity, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure all planning activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
• Reporting & Analysis: Provide detailed reports on production performance, inventory levels, and forecasting accuracy to inform strategic decision-making.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks such as supply chain disruptions or production delays, and develop contingency plans to minimize impact.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between various departments, ensuring smooth communication and alignment on goals, timelines, and priorities.

Qualifications:

• Education: A degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Science. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or a similar supply chain role, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in planning and forecasting tools. Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics software is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex information clearly.
• Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
